Cream of mushroom soup
My son is loves soups. Considering it is a very healthy food, I try to make it often. It's quite easy as well.
For other soup varieties
Sweet corn creamy soup
Cream of broccoli soup
Ingredients
Button mushrooms - 15 to 30
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Onions - 1 medium size (finely chopped)
Milk - 1 cup
Salt - for taste
Pepper powder - 2 tsp
Fresh cream - 4 tbsp
Pasta masala - 1 tsp (or any dried Italian herb)
Butter - 2 tsp
Corn flour or sll purpose flour - 2 tsp
Water - as necessary
Method
Rince and chop the mushroom. In a large sauce pan, melt the butter. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute it. Add the finely chopped onions and saute it till golden brown. Add the chopped mushrooms and saute it. The mushroom will start leaving water. Add the corn flour or all purpose flour and mix it well. Add 1 cup of milk, salt, pepper powder and heat it. Add water as necessary and sprinkle the pasta masala. Heat the soup till it comes to a simmer.
If you have celery add it. Just before removing it from heat, add cream.
Serve hot.
