Mooli paratha

Mooli paratha/ Raddish paratha
Very delicious and filling paratha. The stuffing is made using mooli i.e., raddish.

Ingredients
For the dough -
1and half cup - wheat flour
Salt for taste
For the stuffing
Mooli/ Raddish -2 grated
Green chilli - 2 finely chopped
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Fennel powder - 1 tsp
Jeera powder - 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Note
First grate the Raddish. Add a pinch of salt and allow it to rest for about 10 minutes.
Then squeeze the mooli to remove the excess water. This water can be used to knead the dough.
Method
Making the dough
Take the wheat flour in a large bowl. Add the water from mooli and salt and knead it well. The dough should be same like har made for chapati.
For the stuffing
Take a small bowl with mooli. Add all the masala listed under FOR THE STUFFING. Mix it well. Your stuffing is ready.
Making the paratha
Take a big lemon sized dough. Roll it into a small circle of about 5 to 6 cms diameter. Take a small amount of mooli stuffing and place it on the chapati. Fold it and pinch all the edges. Roll it slowly into a circle. Take care not to break the paratha. Dust with wheat flour if needed.
Take a tawa and heat it. Take the paratha and heat it in the tawa. Add ghee or butter. Serve hot with butter, curds and pickle.
