White sauce pasta

White sauce pasta - Also known as bechamel sauce, this is a easy to make and very tasty. You can add mixed vegetables like mushroom, potatoes, peas, sweet corn to the pasta. Here I have made a simple white sauce pasta with only garlic, onions and capsicum. You may also like recipe of Tomato pasta
Ingredients
1 bowl of penne pasta (you can use other variety like macaroni or shell pasta)
1 medium sized onion - finely chopped
1/2 medium sized capsicum - finely chopped
6 - 7 cloves of garlic - finely chopped
1/2 cup milk
3 TSP pepper powder
3tsp pasta seasoning
2 - 3 tsp maida
2 - 3 tsp of tulasi - finely chopped
2 tsp of butter (Amul butter with garlic and herbs is very good)
Cheddar cheese - grated
Salt - for taste

Method
Boil the pasta in water by adding salt and 1tsp of oil to it. The water should just be covering the penne. Don't overcook the pasta or else it will break. Drain it. You can use this water for cooking
Take a thick bottomed pan. Add the butter. Once it melts add the chopped garlic and onion. Let the onions turn translucent. Add the chopped capsicum. Add maida and mix it well with the veggies. Add milk, pepper powder, salt and the pasta seasoning. Stir it till the capsicum becomes crunchy. It should'nt be fully cooked. The sauce should not be too thick. You can add water. Add the boiled penne. Check the taste and add pepper or salt if necessary. (Please remember cheese will contain salt). Boil it with stirring for about 5 min. Add the grated cheddar cheese and serve hot.
I have posted pics of white sauce pasta using penne pasta and also shell pasta

The cheese has to be cheddar or parmesan. The processed cheese will not give you a good taste
