Palak paratha

Palak paratha
A yummy paratha which can be taken in lunch box. Made using palak (spinach) which is very rich in iron, this paratha can be eaten with any simple dal or salad. You may also like the recipe of Palak poori
Ingredients
Palak - about 150 gms
Wheat flour - 2 cups
Green chilli - 3
Garlic - 5 cloves
Garlic - 1/2 inch piece
Oil and water for kneading
Salt for taste
Ghee for making paratha
Method
Clean the palak and drain it. In a blender, blend the palak with green chilli, garlic and ginger into a puree.
Take wheat flour in a besan. Add the palak puree and salt for taste. Make it into a dough by adding water if necessary. Add oil so that the dough is soft. Allow the dough to rest for 30 minutes. Make small sized balls. Sprinkle flour and roll it into a circle.
Take a girdle (tawa) and heat it. Transfer the paratha into the tawa. Add ghee and boil it on both sides. Serve hot with dal or chutney.
