Mavinakayi chitranna (Mango rice)
It is the season of raw mango and here I have given a yummy mixed rice recipe using raw mango. This has a unique taat mango. You may also like recipe of

Onion rice

Curry leaves rice
Grated raw mango - 1/2 to 3/4th cup (depends on sourness of mango)
Rice - 2 cup
Green chilli - 2 - 3 finely chopped
Capsicum - 1/2
Mustard seed - 1 tsp
For seasoning
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Chana dal - 2 tsp
Urad dal - 2 tsp
Ground nuts
Oil
Method
In a big kadai roast fenugreek seeds. When they are turning brownish add red chilli, mustard seeds and allow them to splutter. Add grated coconut, roast for a minute. Blend it using a blender without water. Keep it aside
In a kadai take little oil. Add groundnut and roast them. Add mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal and allow them to splutter. Add finely chopped green chili and capsicum (optional). Roast it for a while. Add grated mango and saute it for few minutes till the smell of raw mango goes. Add the blended mix and saute it for 2 minutes. Add salt for taste. This is the gojju (pic given).Add the rice and mix well.
Serve hot with curds or potato wafers or both
